Alfa Romeo has debuted the launch version of the 4C at the geneva auto show. specs look as good as the car… with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds.
a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) and power supplied by a 1.8 liter four-cylinder turbo engine with 237 hp. the 4c chassis is made entirely from carbon fiber for lightness and rigidity, while the car is less than 13 feet long with a wheelbase of 7.8 feet.
the 4c also incorporates Alfa Romeo’s DNA switch, which lets the driver adjust traction control and throttle response. the DNA switch also includes a new Race mode setting, which supplies even more aggressive handling and computer aids to speed things up further.
pricing is still up for grabs, but should begin from €56,000-€64,000 EUR (US price still tba) and production scheduled to begin this summer at Maserati’s Modena plant.
